  1. Last Day of Term:
Today was my last day of teaching at Rhos St: I began my connection with the school some 22 years ago when my oldest daughter started at the Nursery. After that, daughter number two attended the school as well and I helped to start the additional nursery provision now called Giggles, working there three mornings a week. So it was strange to drive away today knowing that it is the end of an era: of course I could be meeting my grandchildren on the playground there in another few years I suppose!
Anyway in the last week or so I have had a lovely send-off from each of my classes and have been spoilt with flowers and other luxuries ... as well as some Australian dollars from my colleagues! Diolch yn fawr iawn i chi gyd!
Tomorrow a very special friend is flying to Australia to meet up with her daughters ... for nearly six weeks! I shall cat-sit and be jealous in equal measures ... but my turn is coming! Getting excited now!
Also had some good news about jobs this week: apparently it should not be too difficult to find work when I return ... it had been worrying me a little I have to admit! Free spirits rarely actually live for free!
